TOM HUESTIS
Tommy is my hero because beside serving our community by being an awesome Police Officer he always goes above and beyond to support and help anyone he can, especially children. He has been volunteering as an advisor with the Greenwich Police Explorers for over 14 years now and the Greenwich Police Silver Shield Association. He is a member of the GPD Honor guard. Just recently he organized a ride by with some fellow officers to cheer up some kids during this isolation period.

LISE JAMESON
Lise Jameson is the Executive Director of At Home In Greenwich. She has dedicated the past eleven years to building a vibrant organization that focuses on the well-being of Greenwich's older adults who would like to remain in their homes as they age. She has developed social programs that range from learning about plants to attending the opera, picnics at the beach, and holiday parties.

KELLY FUJITANI
Mrs. Kelly Fujitani is retiring after teaching for 36 years as a second grade teacher at North Street School. During her years at North Street School, students were lucky to be a part of "2F" where Mrs. Fujitani instilled her love of all things learning in her students. During Distance Learning, we hear over and over about "connection before content" as those connections lead to learning.

TRAVIS SLUSS
Although the the Covid virus caused a major interruption in his business, Macinspires (because it involves children, schools and after school activities)...he raised funds so he’d be able to make PPE for hospitals, doctors and many other health heroes. He worked tirelessly with two staff members and some volunteers to make face shields, masks and aerosol boxes mostly used for anesthesiologists.

KATHERINE SADIGHI
Katherine is a talented nurse at Greenwich Hospital, my fiancée, and the love of my life. We were supposed to get married this November but, sadly, had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19. She fights the good fight each day and provides the best quality of care for all her patients (many of whom have suffered from COVID-19).

THE ENTIRE STAFF OF GEMS
Fictional heroes fly through the air and leap tall buildings with a single bound. Real heroes save lives.
The women and men of GEMS are on call 24/7/365 to provide emergency medical treatment and transportation to the Greenwich community.

ROSEANN BENEDICT
I am dominating Roseann Benedict as a GTP hometown hero for many reasons. Roseann is born and raised in Greenwich. She works tirelessly as a realtor in town while finding time to run the “Social Seniors”. Before COVID, the Social Seniors would meet at least once a month. After feeding them all lunch, there would be speakers, games, music and general socializing.

SUZANNE COYNE
Suzanne is an assistant principal at Western Middle School. She is a wonderful advocate for all students and families, an approachable and supportive administrator and an amazing mother to three wonderful daughters. The students and staff at Western are so lucky to have Suzanne as an integral part of the team.
