The lottery was open:

November 16 - December 15, 2023

Available to Greenwich residents and employees. Community tickets cost $85 per ticket, and Senior tickets cost $25 per ticket plus processing fees. Eighty percent of each Community ticket is generously funded by individual and corporate sponsors of the GTP.

Important Information:

All forms submitted will be randomly sorted once the lottery has closed; no preference will be given to the date/time of submission.

In order to be fair to all, we ask that you submit only one Waitlist Request Form for Community tickets and/or one Waitlist Request Form for Senior tickets per household.

ALL CHILDREN MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ATTEND THE EVENT: Tickets are free of charge for children ages 12 and under. Children’s tickets must be included when you submit your Waitlist Request Form.

Greenwich Town Party (GTP) Tickets may only be purchased by Greenwich residents, business owners or employees. All Waitlist Request Forms submitted will be verified for Greenwich residency or employment.

Winner Notification:

Winners will be notified after the lottery has closed and submissions have been randomly sorted.

  • If you win and want the tickets, your credit card will be charged for the exact amount of tickets you requested on your form, and you will receive a confirmation of the purchase.

  • Winners who DO NOT want the tickets, will have a ONE-DAY window to opt out.

  • Non-winners will also be emailed of their status and remain on the waitlist. If all tickets are not purchased by Ticket Lottery Winners, they will be offered to the next people on the Waitlist.

FAQs

  • December 15

  • Community tickets cost $85 per ticket and Senior tickets cost $25 per ticket, plus fees. Children’s tickets are free for ages 12 and under.

  • The week of January 15

  • We are working with Front Gate Tickets to conduct our lottery using their Waitlist Request technology. The people who fill out and submit a Waitlist Request Form online will be randomly sorted in the same manner as our lottery has always been conducted. All submissions will be considered equal, with no preference given to the date and time of submission within the open period of November 16 - December 15. If all tickets are not purchased by Ticket Lottery Winners, who will be notified week of January 15, they will be offered to the next people on the randomly sorted list of all who submitted a Waitlist Request.

  • If the billing zip code is not within the Town of Greenwich, the GTP will verify the applicant via proof of residency and/or employment. No exceptions.

  • In order to be fair to all, we ask that you submit only one Waitlist Request Form for Community tickets and/or one Waitlist Request Form for Senior tickets per household. Only one Waitlist Request Form per unique email address will be entered into the lottery. The GTP will also implement a verification process to confirm unique email identities, as well as Greenwich residency or employment.

  • You will need to submit a Waitlist Request Form for Community tickets, as well as a Waitlist Request Form for Senior tickets. You may use your same email for both submissions. Please note that if you win the lottery, you will be charged for the exact number of tickets on the winning Waitlist Request Form submitted; the two Waitlist Request Forms will not be tied together. Seniors may apply for and enter the event with Community tickets. But adults younger than age 65 should not submit an application for Senior tickets, as Senior tickets may only be used by adults ages 65+.

  • There will be 6,000 Community (general admission) tickets for 2024, including adults, children and seniors.

  • Community Lottery winners can purchase up to 6 adult and 6 children’s tickets. Senior Lottery winners can purchase up to 4 senior and 6 children’s tickets. The number of tickets purchased by each lottery winner will be the exact number of tickets the winner specified on the Waitlist Request Form submitted.

  • The ticket purchase maximums allow people to purchase enough tickets to accommodate families.

  • Lottery winners will be notified by email during the week of January 15. Tickets will be delivered to Lottery winners in May 2024. Delivery method TBD.
