The GTP’s mission has always been simple yet powerful: to unite our community through the joy of live music, family, friendship, and mutual generosity. By giving back, the event remains accessible to all while also supporting local nonprofits throughout the year.

OUR HISTORY

The Greenwich Town Party was the vision of one philanthropic town resident, inspired during a visit to his wife's home country of Spain. It was there that he witnessed the powerful way an annual town gathering could bring people together. Motivated by the values of building community through shared experiences, he returned home and founded the Greenwich Town Party. Launched in 2011, the GTP has become part of the fabric of Greenwich. While the party centers on a single day of festivities, the impact is much greater and extends far beyond the event, fostering a lasting sense of town pride and inspiring a spirit of civic engagement and appreciation throughout the community.
